Amy May, a proud resident of Covington, Louisiana, has deep roots on the Northshore. She attended the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where she earned her degree. After graduation, Amy embarked on a successful career in retail sales, eventually owning her own bridal shop. However, after getting married and starting a family, she decided to sell the business to spend more time with her loved ones.
Amy’s pharmaceutical career began with Abbott Labs, where she played a key role in launching the anti-inflammatory drug, Mobic. She worked with Abbott for five years before deciding to take a break and focus on raising her two children.
In 2008, Amy transitioned into the mail-order pharmacy and medication dispensing industry, covering Louisiana and Mississippi. She spent much of her career in this field with one company, navigating multiple acquisitions. After the many changes brought by these buyouts, Amy chose to bring her talents to DocRx.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family, often cheering on her children as they participate in various sports.
