Ashley Smith, a Mobile, Alabama native, graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. During her college years, from 2006 to 2010, Ashley gained unique experience in the TV, film, and music industry, working on Hollywood-produced films and collaborating closely with Carrie Underwood and her band during their 2010 Play On Tour. This fast-paced, dynamic environment honed Ashley’s skills in time management, teamwork, and adaptability—skills that have served her well throughout her career.
In late 2010, Ashley transitioned into the medical field, following in the footsteps of her father, a successful figure in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years. Drawn to DocRx by CEO Brian Ward’s vision and emphasis on family values, Ashley has been with the company for over eight years, gaining experience in nearly every department. Her diverse background spans dispensing, toxicology, compounding, billing, sales, and wholesale pharmacy. Today, she oversees the injections department.
Ashley and her husband, Brian, met during college and married in 2012. They have two sons, Mason and Camden, both of whom are passionate about sports. Having grown up cheering on her three brothers in various sports, Ashley now enjoys watching her own boys follow in their uncles’ footsteps. In her spare time, Ashley loves traveling, shopping, attending concerts, playing the guitar, and spending time at the beach.
